Join our Falassarna Beach Tour and enjoy a swim in one of Crete’s most exotic destinations! Located 59 km west of Chania and 17 km west of Kissamos, Falassarna Beach sits on the western edge of Cape Gramvousa. At its northern end lie the ancient ruins of the Roman city of Falassarna.

This iconic bay has been awarded as the best beach in Crete and ranks among Europe’s top 10 beaches. It actually consists of five beaches, with the two main ones being the most popular. The soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters give it a tropical vibe, especially on calm, wind-free days.

The main beach, Pachia Ammos, stretches over 1 km long and 150 m wide. Despite its popularity, it rarely feels crowded due to its size. Here, you’ll find umbrellas, snack bars, cafes, water sports, and a beach volleyball court.

To the north, another 800 m stretch of sand offers a quieter experience, divided by dunes and rocks, with no facilities — ideal for those seeking peace. Nearby, you’ll find the chapel of Agia Paraskevi and a freshwater spring.

Further north lies a secluded pebbly cove near the archaeological site — perfect for windy days or quiet moments. South of Pachia Ammos, Livadi Beach offers sandy shores, a rocky seabed for snorkeling lovers, and is surrounded by a vital wetland home to many winter birds.

Lastly, near the small harbor of Limeniskos, a small pebbly beach offers a more remote and peaceful option.

Don’t miss the magical sunset at Falassarna, where the sun sinks into the sea with an unobstructed view — and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a beach party in the evening!
