Experience Monastic Tradition in Every Sip

Discover the sacred harmony of faith and viticulture with a visit to the Agia Triada Monastery Winery. Nestled in the serene landscape of Akrotiri, near Chania, the historic Agia Triada Monastery of the Jagarolon family is renowned not only for its architectural beauty and spiritual heritage but also for its premium organic wines.

Produced using a blend of centuries-old traditions and modern technology, these wines are crafted from grape varieties perfectly suited to the unique microclimate of the region.

A Time-Honored Production Process

At Agia Triada, the entire production follows traditional methods:

  • Harvesting: Grapes are carefully handpicked from the monastery’s own estates.

  • Processing: Fruit is brought to the monastery where it is sorted and pressed with care.

  • Quality Control: A specialized team ensures every batch meets strict EU quality standards.

  • Bottling: Since 1997, the monastery has used a state-of-the-art bottling facility to ensure purity and consistency.

Beyond Wine: A Holistic Visit

Your experience doesn’t end with wine. Visitors are welcome to:

  • Tour the monastery grounds and the Museum of the Trinity Jagarolon

  • Explore the production areas of the monastery’s other famous goods:

    • Organic olive oil

    • Honey
